Welcome to the 2020 Bill Bone Florida State Time Trial. We are excited to provide this new course which is 100% closed to traffic. (NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION - CLOSES ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2020 AT NOON - START TIMES WILL BE PROVIDED POSTED ON FRIDAY AT ESPTIMING.COM
Extreme Sports Productions and Bill Bone Bike Law have partnered to bring South Florida Cyclists the 2020 Bill Bone Florida State Florida State Time Trail Championships. Please note that you must have a USA Cycling license to participate. One day licenses are available on race day but are are NOT eligible for medals or the Florida State Jersey. You can not race at a lower age category for the State Championship.

4-Person Male Team, Road Bikes Only, Merckx Rules (3 riders must cross the line)*
4-Person Male Team, Time Trail Bikes Only (3 riders must cross the line)
2-Person Female Team Road Bikes Only, Merckx Rules*
2-Person Female Team, Time Trial Bikes Only
2-Person Coed, Road Bikes Only, Merckx Rules*

RULES FOR MERCKX
*Merckx division is designated for road bikes. Must use a USAC mass start legal road bike, no aerobars, no fixed gears, no disc wheels. Standard road bike, 80mm wheel maximum, NO Time Trial specific helmets. Aero ROAD helmets are allowed, modern aero ROAD bars are allowed (no aero extensions of any kind are allowed). Skinsuits are allowed. Booties/Overshoes are allowed. If you do not know who Eddie Merckx is, look it up.

RACE NUMBER PICKUP - On Site ONLY
CHIP TIMING - This race uses a high speed chip designed for cycling. You can rent a chip for $5.
CLOSED ROAD - Course is 100% closed and managed by the Florida Highway Patrol.
AWARDS - Florida State Champion Jerseys will be handed out for all categories. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group and category. You must have proof of Florida residency to be eligible for a State Jersey.
